IbB is an organisation that deals with data collection and basic research for the specialization of the analysis and reconstruction of road accidents. Data and knowledge can be attained by individual self-employed experts, larger expert offices, institutes and organizations by payment of a yearly fee. This passing on of information is depending on an examination of the interested persons or organisations. IbB Forensic is active in following operation fields:

1. Basic research (e.g. crash tests) or participation in it.
2. Systematic evaluation of documents out of the reconstruction practice.
3. Evaluation of literature and current contributions from congresses etc. Collaboration with colleges and universities. Support of students e.g. on degree dissertations.
4. Development and provision of calculation and working methods.
5. Performance of conferences and seminars for further education of interested experts.
6. Giving the possibility of quality assurance by examinations, based on the standards EN 45000 and by taking part in ring tests.
7. Publishing of technical papers about our research results. Our Internet offer is also part of this.
